Senior Web Application Developer

We have a new exciting opportunity at Bennetts, part of the Saga Group, for a Senior Web Application Developer to join our team in Peterborough. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of up to £46,000 per annum.

About the Senior Web Application Developer role:

We are recruiting for an experienced developer who is passionate about technology and software development. We are looking for someone with a background in Microsoft Technologies who can contribute to the stability and evolution of our diverse applications.

You will be one of Bennetts’ technical front-runners, taking the lead on technically complex projects helping to coach and develop other team members. You will deliver real business value through innovative IT services and solutions , setting an example for technical excellence within the team whilst upholding the Bennetts culture and ethics.

Bennetts have embraced the Agile movement and have adopted the Scrum framework; we are constantly evolving and you will have the opportunity to help define the way we work.

Our ideal Senior Web Application Developer:

Technology stack: Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, MVC, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MicroServices, IIS, TFS, JavaScript, PowerShell, Octopus Deploy

As well as possessing the right skills for the role, you need to be enthusiastic and passionate about all that you do.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to convey complex technical ideas to both your peers and a nontechnical audience. You will be passionate about sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team, continually introducing new and innovative ideas.
