The role
I am currently seeking a Digital Print Engineer to join the UK operations of a global leader specifically working on a world leader printing manufacturer. In particular this role will focus on ensuring the smooth and continued operation of new and existing products and equipment, through repair of emergency breakdowns and routine service maintenance duties, including planned and preventative maintenance (PPM). There will also be a degree of responsibility surrounding installations, this will include; installing new equipment and systems and demonstrating equipment as required.
The successful candidate coming into this role will work to support issues both onsite and remotely, this means that the role is quite autonomous and would require excellent time management skills. Due to the customer interaction and support element to this role, exceptional communication skills will be required.
This is a mobile position which will suit someone based in Taunton, but commutable from Tiverton, Glastonbury, Weston-super-Mare etc.
The requirements
You will have a full UK driving license, but aside from that:
- Strong Electro-Mechanical engineering skills (2+ years working experience).
- Track record of working with digital printing equipment.
- Relevant engineering qualifications.
- Good level of IT skills across software, networking and Microsoft.
- Can fault find confidently to component level.
- Be able to report and complete documentation on work completed.
