Tenancy Management Officer needed for a 3 month temporary contract in Stroud

You will be working with a well established housing provider in the Gloucestershire area, who focuses on their tenants satisfaction as well as tenant engagement within the community.
Your new role
You will be working as an Tenancy Management Officer for a 3 month temporary contract across 37.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for the management of tenancy, rent areas, property management and tenancy sign ups covering a patch of properties within the Gloucestershire area. As a tenancy officer you will be responsible for all housing management, being first point of contact for tenant queries, dealing with queries and complaints in a professional manner. As a tenancy officer you will provide tenants with general housing management advice, helping them with their rent and tenancy management.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous experience within housing management working with a housing provider in a role similar to described. You must be able to drive as you are managing a patch of properties and are expected to visit tenants on site when necessary. To be a successful housing officer you must have working knowledge on rent arrears, court cases and housing management, as well as knowledge on lettings and housing systems. To be a successful housing officer you must be passionate about helping residents, supporting them and signposting where relevant. You must have fantastic communication skills, working with tenants from different backgrounds, being able to empathise and work with challenging behaviours. Working as income officer means you will have to be flexible within your working pattern.
