BMC Resourcing is proud to be support a leading engineering specialist. Due to continued growth now have a requirement for a Sales Engineer to help grow their current business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and you will play key part in its growth.

To be considered for this position you will have an understanding of Mechanical Engineering preferably in the field of Rotating Machinery. Reporting directly the Directors, you will be undertaking an exciting and challenging role working within both Private Industry and Public sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Arranging and completing sales calls to both existing customers and new clients
• Obtaining enquiries and forwarding these to the Sales Office for quotation
• Following up quotations until contract is placed.
• Acting as the first line contact in cases of customer problems or queries
• Negotiate sales agreements and contracts
• Identify and develop new customers and applications
• Specify technical solutions to customer enquiries
• Work with channel and industry partners to engineer solutions to technical requirements
• Manage customer relationships including answering technical and commercial enquiries
• Attend national exhibitions, seminars and customer events
• Liaise with customer service team to deliver a high level of service
• Provide and present on market intelligence to management and partners
• Implement product positioning strategy and pricing.

Key Requirements:
• A proven track record in sales of capital equipment
• Knowledge of maximising of sales opportunities from an area by strong relationship building and trusted technical support
• Technical experience, preferably gained in the mechanical sector
• Passionate about customer service and sales
• Ability to negotiate and problem solve
• Ability to present product offerings and processes to varied audiences
• Proven sales experience
• Strong communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
