One of the UK's foremost organic retailers is looking to strengthen the team at its Spitalfields store with the appointment of Assistant Manager. The Role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you would assist in driving profitability and delivering the business objectives of the store through leading and helping develop a team that provides outstanding customer service.
You would play an important role in developing and motivating a high calibre team, tasked with guaranteeing each and every customer is engaged and offered exceptional levels of service, at all times. You will also be expected to help promote a high standard of visual merchandising, manage Health & Safety issues, develop and implement loss prevention controls, plus ensure compliance with up to date retail legislation. You will follow a tailored Training programme and receive on going on-the-job training to develop your Management skills.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must have significant food retail experience in a supervisory capacity and will be looking for an opportunity to develop their career in a leadership position. The company are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a real passion and a clear knowledge and application of the fundamental basics of high retail standards.
You will be a versatile and flexible individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude plus excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability. You must be creative, able to demonstrate excellent visual merchandising skills and the ability to shape a store around delivering a first class customer journey.
