An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Inspector to join us in Wigan.  This is a contract until January 2020.

Within this role, you will supervise and manage on a day to day basis the quality of works carried out by teams including Sub Contractors. 

You will be the face quality for the Company in the tenant’s home and often the first point of contact with customers regarding quality issues.

Monitoring progress and completion of works including frequent site visits to establish the exact status of the job, you will also monitor work in progress liaising with the client, reviewing snagging lists and assessing the finished job, through to hand back to the client.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have current knowledge of responsive repairs and void maintenance work, measured term contracts and schedule of rates.

You will have knowledge of computerised systems for the receipt and allocation of work and recording of completed work sheets.  With trade and building experience, you should also have experience of working in an occupied and voids operation along with experience of supervising foreman, operatives and sub-contractors.

In addition, practical health and safety issues associated with a responsive repairs environment and experience of working with computerised systems is also essential.
