This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN to apply their skills and experience in a rewarding setting. A 63-bedded home situated in Bridgwater, Somerset providing residential, nursing and respite care with a new state-of-the-art 40 bed extension to accommodate a specialist dementia unit.
Duties/Responsibilities: -
•
Take responsibility for medication administration and management
•
Ensure that all residents have full risk assessments and person-centred care plans in place and that these are regularly reviewed and updated
•
Supervise and train junior staff and act as a mentor to new staff members
•
Promote resident independence and respect their dignity and choices
•
Act as Nurse in Charge and be responsible in the absence of the manager
