Head of Training and Learning - B2B Healthcare
Very well established charitable organisation with offices in central Bristol are looking to appoint a senior level leadership role. This company are a thriving and dynamic medium sized organisation with 80 total staff and GBP8.5m turnover. The experience we need.
Whilst formal qualifications such as degree, professional body membership or higher-level qualifications are desirable, of greater value is a track record of delivery in dynamic b2b focused professional services. To that end, whilst experience gained in a HR department or in frontline is of immense value equally the ability to 'do deals' and represent the organisation at the very highest level is important. The organisation is therefore open to a wide variety of candidates.
There are some essential requirements in this role.
- The organisation is looking for high level interpersonal skills, the ability to manage a multi-functional team and work across teams as part of a matrix structure is important.
- Experience across Training and Development programmes and/or national events
- You will be highly organised and able to work on your own initiative
- Commercially astute and experience of manging budgets
- An understand of Social Media - LinkedIn, Twitter etc
The role.
The role will report directly to the Chief Executive and be part of the organisation's Exec team.
You will lead, manage and mentor a talented team and you will take strategic direction from the directors to create and oversee the design, development and delivery of comprehensive training programmes .Another key priority in this role will be to reinvigorate and generate income from a national events programme and work with business development team to generate sponsorship so it`s key that they are highly innovative and have a commercial outlook as well as good management skills and experience on the training and L&D side.

Most of the senior staff are long serving and work extremely closely together. It is important the candidate can adapt quickly to a non-hierarchical, team culture where ideas and innovations are encouraged.
What you`ll get in return.
A highly competitive salary of between GBP50,000 - GBP60,000, excellent pension and additional benefits.
