Job Description:

Due to further expansion within our clients Finance Department we are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Sales Ledger Assistant to support a fast paced Sales Ledger and Credit Control function.

Reporting to the Credit Manager you will support the department with invoicing, query resolution, cash collection and general administration duties.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual who is eager to learn and develop new skills within a busy finance function. Full in-house training will be provided but previous finance experience would be advantageous. The key areas of responsibility would include:

*Sending out weekly customer invoices via email;
*Sending out fortnightly customer statements via email;
*Customer liaison and query resolution, delivering excellent customer service;
*Providing assistance for the weekly raising of customer invoices;
*Providing assistance for the raising of claims credits;
*Supporting the credit control function with the debt collection cycle;
*Adhoc duties to support the Finance department as required.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

*Previous experience in a similar role is preferred although not essential, and office experience would be advantageous;
*Great customer service skills and you will have a real 'can do' attitude;
*Excellent communication skills and telephone manner;
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;
*Strong I.T. skills with a good working knowledge of the MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
*The desire to work as part of an expanding friendly team.
