Our client are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team on a 6 month Contract basis.
Candidates should be either Qualified or close too and have relevant practical experience.
The role is being recruited on either a Full Time or Part Time basis.
The role:
- Advise and assist colleagues across the organisation on financial accounting & management practices.
- Provide financial advice to working groups, with the objective of further developing the financial management within the organisation.
- Undertake special projects and organisation-wide accountancy tasks under the direction of Finance Manager.
- Monitor and promote best practice in financial management within the organisation.
- Liaise with other partners and stakeholders on financial issues, including representing the organisation at relevant meetings.
- Maintain and improve systems to receive and deliver financial information.
- To be aware of your responsibilities of the organisation relating to financial and contract procedure rules.
- Liaison with staff across the organisation and outlying establishments, with Auditors, Inspectors, and with other relevant departments and external organisations.
- Undertake corporate lead for one or more of the following tasks:
a.Financial training
b.Finance business planning
c.Systems development
d.Finance element of Internet
e.Insurance/Banking and Treasury management
f.VAT
