Project Support Officer
Job purpose
- To support the development and delivery of our Participation Project contract work for Cambridgeshire County Council.
- To work alongside the Cambridgeshire Alliance for Independent Living (CAIL) Participation Project staff who are specifically assigned to undertake this work.
- To support the running of Cambridgeshire Alliance for Independent Living (CAIL).
Main duties and responsibilities
80% of the work
To provide effective administration of the four County Council Partnership Boards (Learning Disability PB, Older People's PB, Carers PB and Physical Disability & Sensory Impairment PB). This includes:
Minute taking at the Board meetings.
The timely distribution of Board papers, including minutes and agenda, in appropriate formats.
Administering the participation budget for Board Member travel expenses, venue, refreshments, training and resources costs, ensuring a clear audit trail.
Assisting with the induction of new Partnership Board Members, including providing a ‘welcome' pack and supporting the organisation of relevant training.
On-going support for and regular contact with new Partnership Board members to ensure their continued involvement.
Supporting the distribution of promotional materials to promote involvement in the Partnership Boards.

Supporting financial management using computerised accounting systems
Event planning and organising
Filing and retrieving information and documents
Data entry
Booking travel Maintaining office equipment
Looking after visitors
