We are looking to recruit a Teaching assistant who has experience of teaching young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) difficulties at a Special Educational Needs school in Frome.
The ideal candidate should be someone who supported young people with additional needs in the past and able to build rapport and manage behaviour effectively. The role is full-time, will be on a temporary basis for a term, and has the potential to be long-term or permanent.
This role might be ideal for you if:
-You have previous Teaching Support or SEN experience.
-You have previously worked with young people with challenging behaviour
-You have experience and understanding of working in a Special Educational needs setting
-You are available full-time from next term.
-You have training in Team Teach or Positive Behaviour Management.
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach to supporting young people with additional needs but aim for high standards
-You are looking for a long-term position within schools.
