A school in Ellesmere Port are seeking a KS2 Teacher with intervention experience to work with them in a long-term role, starting in September and running until May on a full-time basis.
The successful applicant will take on a split role, working closely with Year 6 pupils in interventions in the morning and supporting Year 4 pupils in the classroom during the afternoon. Accordingly, a broad skillset is highly valuable for this position and all applicants should be confident in their ability to adapt to specific learning needs, effectively manage pupil behaviour, and build relationships with children on a 1:1 basis. In addition to this, a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum is essential. As this is a full-time, long-term role running for 8 months, the school are keen to find an Intervention Teacher with a track record of reliability. At least a year of previous experience implementing interventions at the primary level is also required.
