THE ROLE

EMEA License & Subscription Specialist will be based in our Harrogate office reporting into UK Finance (Colin Glass) and dotted line into the US Billings team (Tom McLaughlin)
The role is important as License & Subscription of our product are a key part of the customer and supplier activities.
The role will manage new sales, renewals, addon and supplier activities, administer the license key activations and ensure compliance is achieved for appropriate revenue recognition.
The role is administrative but an active finance oversight role.

RESPONSIBIILTIES
• Works closely with the Sales teams, Customer success teams and support teams
• Sets up new customer subscriptions post sales order.
• Processes and amends renewals to current customers.
• Actions orders with salesforce for new and renewal orders.
• Deals with adhock setup, customer queries, support queries.
• Works with the Billing team to ensure sales invoices are accurately reflecting license sales.
• Attends operational meetings for CSM and support as required.
• Attend customer escalation meetings to deal quickly with license problems if they arise.
• Supports the wider finance function with general accounting work, analysis and product interaction.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ideally suited to someone who had worked in a finance function or financial organisation involved in cash collections.
  • Who is qualified AAT/CIMA or by experience.
  • Who has extensive experience of licenses, royalties or similar in a software/SAAS environment.
  • Motivated by targets.
