Compliance Manager - 9 Month Contract
Our client, based in Horsham, West Sussex is currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join their fantastic organisation on 9-month contract basis.
The successful Compliance Manager will develop and lead the new compliance function within the business ensuring that all relevant legislation is met, and provide training and advice on best practice. You will become the subject matter person for compliance and manage and roll out compliance change.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure complete compliance with regulatory bodies / legislations
- Carry out detailed analysis and assessments to identify risks to new and existing processes
- Implement best practice across the business making sure that new legislation is being adhered to
- Work with internal and external teams to manage and roll out compliance changes
- Review 3rd party and legal contracts
- Provide compliance training to new and existing employees
- Become the central point for compliance within the business
- Line management of a team
Key skills and attributes:
- Working knowledge and experience of managing compliance and legislation
- Excellent skills in monitoring risks and applying contingency plans
- Excellent contract management skills
- Proven track record of rolling out compliance change across a business
- Line management experience including the recruitment of team members
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships, networking and negotiation skills
