Course Director (Biomedical Sciences)

We are currently seeking to appoint a Course Director for our BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences courses. The Course Director will be responsible for providing course leadership, organisation, and management of the course portfolio in order to provide our students with an excellent education experience preparing them for their future professional lives. We are looking to appoint a candidate with suitable professional, managerial and academic background to lead the course. The post holder will need to be preferably a qualified member of a relevant professional institution, with extensive knowledge and experience of one or more of the following disciplines: Microbiology, Pharmacology, Blood Sciences, Physiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Immunology. They will also be able to demonstrate a track record of teaching and professional practice within their discipline and a willingness to undertake research and enterprise activities which would attract funding for the School.
