Salary: £16,478 per annum pro rata (based on 37.5 hours per week)
Permanent – 22.5 hours per week
Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a part-time Project Assistant on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Cambridge.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Project Assistant in Willow Walk in Cambridge, working 22.5 hours per week (across 3 days). Working hours will be a mixture of shifts - 7.30am - 3.30pm and 2.30pm - 10.30pm. Please note that you will work alternate weekends.
Willow Walk is a scheme for customers with a background of homelessness with complex needs. The Project Assistants play a vital role in providing administration support the teams, as well as supporting clients to make their own life choices and to access the services they need.
You will provide a first-class administration service, maintaining accurate records and acting as a first point of contact for clients by telephone or in person. You will engage with them to offer housing related support, responding to and escalating queries as necessary, including working with tenancy agreements and collecting rents and charges.

Ideally, you’ll already have experience of working with vulnerable clients in a housing/social care setting. If not, you will be given on the job training but will certainly have the empathy, interpersonal skills and sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life. Commitment to providing the quality service that our clients need is also essential. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills and the organisational skills required to deal with a range of administrative issues.
