Who will I be working with?

Cogent is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bovine genetics and operates the UK’s largest bull stud. Founded in 1995, the company has since developed a global presence with a workforce in excess of 120 professional team members.

So, what will the role of Marketing Coordinator entail?

As the Marketing Coordinator you’ll provide administrative support to the creative and busy Marketing Department and be involved in the marketing and promotion of the company’s products, ensuring projects are managed effectively, deadlines are met and budgets adhered to.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of company attendance at industry events, from booking stand spaces to catering, accommodation, transport, etc. In addition, you will assist the Marketing Department in ensuring all paperwork is filed, ensuring easy access to departmental documents when needed.

What will I need to be considered for this Marketing Coordinator vacancy?

• Proven experience working within a busy office administration role
• IT literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Superb organisational and diary management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually, using own initiative
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Proactive approach to work and flexibility towards tasks
• A high level of attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence

Previous experience gained working within a marketing environment would be preferred, however not essential.

Salary: £16,500 to £18,000 per annum, level dependent on experience

Attractive Benefits: 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension and life assurance

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Chester (Cheshire)
