Accounts & Administration Assistant
P J Hare Ltd are the U.K’ s leading manufacturer of small to medium hydraulic production presses and have a vacancy for an experienced Accounts & Administrative Assistant.
Are you looking for a varied and challenging role, where you will have responsibility for your own work whilst also working as part of a small team? Is so, we may have the ideal job for you.
We are looking for someone with a logical mind who enjoys variety in their role; who shows initiative and a can do attitude. A background in accounts (preferably Purchase or Sales Ledger) would be a definite advantage. You must also be an effective communicator and numerate with good computer literacy skills and educated to a minimum of A level standard or QBE. Full training on our ERP Management System (EFACS) will be provided but any prior knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
This position involves:
Maintaining the purchase ledger
Recording and processing of Sales Orders
Answering the telephone and being the first point of contact for visitors
General office duties including consumable purchasing
Reconciling credit card account
Sales and Service department support as required, which may include marketing activities in the future

Based at our Wrington factory you will work closely with the Directors, Management Accountant and senior Sales Managers so the ability to communicate effectively and to work unsupervised is important. Our location means that you will need your own transport.
