LOCATION: Howden, East Riding of Yorkshire
JOB TITLE: Municipal Engineer /Technician
SALARY & BENEFITS: Up to GBP15.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
WORKING HOURS: 7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
THE COMPANY: Our client are specialists in the supply of pre-owned and second hand municipal equipment, refuse vehicles, road sweepers, hook lifts, gully emptiers, jetters, gritters, vacuum tankers, vac-tankers, traffic management vehicles and all kinds of specialist municipal trucks and equipment. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Municipal Engineer / Technician to join their team in Howden on a full time permanent basis.
THE ROLE: Your role as a Municipal Engineer / Technician will be to ensure the vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities/duties of a Municipal Engineer / Technician to include:-
MOT preparation
Fault finding and diagnostics
HGV maintenance and repairs
Attend breakdowns
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate must be a dedicated and flexible team player with a can-do approach. You will have good communications skills and have the ability to work well within a small team. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Howden.
Key experience essential for the role of Municipal Engineer / Technician:-
A minimum of 2 years experience repairing HGVs
A full UK driving licence
A HGV licence is advantageous
Municipal experience is desirable
