IntaPeople are currently recruiting on behalf of a world leading manufacturer and household name who require a Test Engineer to join their team.

The primary role is to test electronic devices using an X-Ray CT scanner and other test equipment. The engineer will be required to perform in depth analysis of results and produce reports based on findings, communicating these to teams within the company. The role may on occasions require overseas travel.

The role requires working shift patterns 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.

Main Responsibilities

• Testing and analysis of electronic devices using an X-Ray CT scanner and other test equipment
• Analytical assessment of results and production of test report
• Communication with global teams to progress test projects and resolve issues
• Maintenance of test systems to ensure they remain accurate and operational
• Work in accordance with procedures to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Development of test procedures to ensure they are kept up to date with latest working practices and test requirements

Experience/Skills

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in electronic engineering
• Professional experience engineering experience, ideally in electronics
• Experience using graphic analysis software
• Competent user of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of quality systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, within a in a small team
• Team player and good at building relationships
• Electronic engineering experience
