Connex Education is seeking a Humanities Teacher who can join a Birmingham based primary school on a short-term basis, with the possibility of a long-term extension in the future.
The successful applicant must have good subject knowledge across the humanities subjects - including history, RE, and geography - and the ability to remain up to date with changes in the curriculum. Ideally, the school are looking for a bubbly and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher who can create positive learning environments while also remaining professional. A good understanding of the varying needs of children at the KS1 and KS2 level and the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour are also highly valuable skills. All applicants for this position must also have QTS and at least 4 months of experience teaching at the primary level within the last 2 years.
This role will operate on a short-term basis initially but there is the possibility of it being extended into a long-term or permanent position if the chosen candidate is successful.
