English Teaching Assistant- Person Specification

This secondary in Sheffield is searching for an ambitious graduate who has an excellent academic record, with strong A-Levels and a 2:1 or higher in your English degree from a Russell Group university. You will ideally have picked up some transferrable skills through previous experience working with young or vulnerable people that you will be able to bring to a teaching assistant role. You must be a bright, resourceful and patient individual who is able to use their academic knowledge to allow students of all ages and abilities to fulfil their potential.

English Teaching Assistant- Job Role

As an English teaching Assistant you will be working across the English department with students from KS3, KS4 and KS5 enabling them to achieve their full potential. The students you will be working with have a range of abilities from those who are high-achieving and striving for the top grades in their GCSE and A-level grades, to the lower ability learners who need regular booster sessions to reach the critical C grade at GCSE level.
