Senior Communications Executive

Your new company

This high profile Higher Education organisation based in Manchester is looking for a new Senior Communications Executive to join their team to help them capitalise on their current growth.

Your new role

You will be responsible for helping to develop the strategic plan for improving the internal and external communications for this Higher Education organisation, who as a result of growth are looking to add someone to their existing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the organisation is presented correctly and in the best manner possible at all times to ensure maximum engagement. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating the distribution of the news within the business through multiple channels. A key part of this role is to support the communications and marketing director through analysing the engagement and reach of content across various platforms and reporting back on the results. You will also be responsible for assisting with activities such as production of videos, brochures, research reports, competitor research and updating the website, as well as organising events.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you must have experience working in a similar role. Higher Education experience is preferred although not essential. Excellent copy writing skills and the ability to produce varied content across platforms are essential. Also required is experience of working in both digital and traditional channels and experience with analytical programmes. You should also have experience with the creation and implementation of a strategic communications plan.
