The client needs someone who can multi task and work on multiple projects simultaneously, showing the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. With this in mind the right candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines in both a team or individually.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and document requirements for enhancements to business processes
- Review requirements and designs with stakeholders to get agreement and sign off
- Assist the project team, reporting progress and escalating issues to project management
- Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes
We are looking someone who ideally has experience working with various number of applications. If you have the following application/ platform it would be ideal but not essential: Linux/ UNIX, Oracle, Java, Application monitoring.
Day to day you'll work with both the business and other development teams to understand, clarify system requirements or to produce estimates for future work. As you become more knowledgeable about the business and systems you will be a key point of contact within the team and key to providing solutions to business problems. Depending on your experience, you can be asked to take the lead role on a project.
Most important to this role are the soft skills. We require pro-active individuals with gravitas, good communication & influencing skills and you will be comfortable with change. Key aspects are analysis, coordination & communication skills, with good organisation & the ability to manage numerous pieces of work at the same time.
