This unique event supplies, planning and production company is a one stop shop for all event requirements. They supply, install and plan most events in house and work with a collection of suppliers to deliver events throughout the south east of the UK. They also travel further afield for smaller bookings.

Most of their work is located in Kent, Surrey, London & Essex.

The main equipment stock includes:
- A large collection of marquee stock
- Bars, Bar Equipment & Cellar Equipment
- Event Furniture & Soft Furnishings
- AV Equipment, Sound, Light & Visual
- Décor & Linen
- Theming Items
- Temporary Structures

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensuring excellent customer care and quality of service
- Rigging marquees, a large part of the job.
- Rigging equipment such as fun catering items and electronic equipment
- Serving customers
- Dealing with client requests on a face to face basis
- Setting up and packing down event equipment
- Cleaning & maintaining event equipment as required

The Position:
They are currently seeking an event technician and rigger to join their team. The position would involve setting up marquee, productions and equipment around the south east and manning equipment where necessary. They do also have events further a field from time to time.

Normal working hours are 8am - 4:30pm 5 days a week however due to the nature of the business you may be asked to work additional hours where necessary. They do operate a time in lieu system in the quieter months.

There are also opportunities to work at events and learn new skills such as cocktail bar tending, cooking, DJing. Hosting, entertaining. All at higher paid rates.

Experience in events or marquees would be helpful bot not essential as full training is given.

Experience / Key Points:
- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
- Self-Motivated with a positive attitude
- Confident and competent with basic electrical equipment
- UK Driving Licence (Preferable)
- Good Command of the English Language
- Physically fit

What you can expect from the position
- A minimum of 40 hours a week and experience. Lots of overtime available. Expected OTE of £21-£23k with basic overtime and event work in the seasonal periods. £8-£10 an hour depending on experience. All event rates are paid £10 or more
