The Company;

Our client, a global manufacturer of precision engineered, Aerospace components and assemblies, is now looking for a world class 'Production/Manufacturing Manager' to join their team. They manage a series of complex and intricate product and assembly programs, for the aerospace industry who demand the highest service, quality and on-time delivery.

The Job;

This pivotal position, responsible for half of the site output, reports directly to the Site Operations Director, is a key role within the senior management team and carries total Profit & Loss responsibility for your production area, at their flagship aerospace facility.

Managing a large multi-functional team, you will ensure they continue their excellent production, quality and OTIF achievements, whilst working closely with other senior managers to deliver genuine continuous improvements in all areas of the business.

A truly important appointment, where you can positively influence the overall business through strategic and tactical leadership, as well as support to peers and colleagues.

You;

As the ideal candidate, you will already be a proven production/manufacturing manager, from an; Aerospace, Precision Engineering or Automotive background. You will demonstrate strong competence in advanced machining processes, as well as excellent man management and customer facing skills. Able to problem-solve proactively, with some of the world's most demanding customers, you will be totally conversant in current lean practices, having been an exponent of 'Continuous Improvement' throughout your career.
