The Position

Galliard Homes is seeking a Digital Copywriting Assistant to join our Digital Marketing team to assist with the increasing demand for high-quality digital content.

The Digital Copywriting Assistant will be a talented writer, responsible for developing compelling and engaging brand, product and SEO-focused copy across Galliard Homes’ online marketing channels including the website, property portals and social networks. Reporting to the Content & Social Media Manager and Head of Digital Marketing, they will have an interest in property development and the property market, interior design and all things London including culture, art and entertainment.

As a Digital Copywriting Assistant, your duties will include;

• Develop property and location-related copy for the core website, associated microsites and online marketing channels in line with content strategy and in-house guidelines
• Upload copy to content management systems
• Review, proof and edit parts of existing copy across the website
• Keep all website and associated copy up-to-date and fit for purpose
• Develop copy for internal communications including team handbooks and departmental reports
• Research topics and summarise to the Digital Marketing team
• Provide administrational support for the Senior Digital Marketing team
• Collaborate to produce social media content in line with content strategy
• Support with sales launches when required
• Liaise with the Senior Digital Marketing team to produce a rolling programme of content to support the future Digital Marketing strategy
• Collaborate to produce social media content in line with content strategy
• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of database email campaigns and newsletters

The Person

The successful Digital Copywriting Assistant will meet the following criteria;

• An English qualification to degree standard or another related qualification such as journalism
• Experience producing copy for digital platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail
• Ability to adapt approach, tone and direction to suit different types of platforms and clients
• Highly creative approach
• Excellent organisational skills
• Keen interest in the property market
• Experience uploading to CMS
• Interest in SEO and social reach
• Travel to Galliard sites/developments will be required- expenses covered
