Class 1 Driver
£11 per hour
Monday – Friday 6:30am – 5:30pm
Overtime available on Saturdays from 6:30am – 11:30am (paid at time and 3/4)
A new opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 Driver to join a family-run waste paper and recycling company with over 30 years’ experience within the industry.
The role
This is a unique opportunity for a Class 1 Driver who doesn’t want to do any long-distance driving to join this well established and expanding company.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Recycling collections for paper, cardboards, confidential waste and plastics
• Driving different vehicles including skip wagon & drag skip wagon
• Ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles
• All-round abilities to include loading and labour work
• Providing an efficient and effective collection service
• Good general knowledge of areas in and around Manchester
• Observing current legislation
What you’ll need
• A Class 1 Licence
• Experience of driving a Class 1 wagon and drag vehicle
• Must be 30 years+ due to company insurance policy to drive HGV lorry
• Punctual & reliable
• Able to organise and prioritise
• CPC Qualification
