This business manages critical incidents in the car and home on behalf of the world's leading insurers, brokers and fleet managers, together with warranty and service plan provision for many automotive manufacturers globally.

This is a really interesting role for any budding detectives out there. You will be working in the counter fraud team who provide anti-fraud services to the insurance market, you will be investigating motor claims that may not appear genuine, on behalf of their clients.

Your role is to

- Identify concerns with claims and assess the need to perform a background check on a specific claim.
- To complete an analytical "Red Amber Green" (RAG) report for ACM claims and send to the clients
- Complete background checks on individual cases we have concerns over and send these to clients to identify possible risks of providing hire to these customers.
- Investigate motor incidents involving hire vehicles and provide a report on the findings of the individuals involved.
- Complete the fraud scoring system for ACM claims and transfer the data to the main RAG report.
- Complete the RAG report and highlight any concerns within.
- Carry out various investigative searches on drivers and passengers. (address, vehicle, claims history, deep internet searches, social media searches etc)
- Complete background checks, voice any findings within and send to clients.
- In the course of performing these checks it should be established whether the customer has concealed important information or otherwise misrepresented him/herself
- Maintain and update spreadsheets containing data of concerning claims.
- Assist the investigators in their tasks.
- Accurately putting new claims onto the Converse Pro system

Skills, knowledge and qualifications required

- You will be experienced dealing with customers, be assertive, articulate and self-motivated
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Understanding of insurance and Uninsured Loss Recovery (ULR) preferred
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures, and compliance standards, relevant to the department i.e. Financial Services Authority (FSA)
- Awareness of the financial implications of breach of procedure
- 5 GCSEs grade C or above or equivalent
