General Operative (Gardener, Groundskeeper, Maintenance) FUTG51533

Our client is an established social enterprise delivering professional and competitive grounds maintenance and property services.

They require a General Operative to join them on a seasonal basis until 31st October 2017, undertaking general maintenance duties to empty properties across Daventry to ensure they are ready to let to new customers, and upkeep of the communal areas such as greens and garage blocks.

This role does involve driving a company van, so a full, clean (manual) driving licence is essential. You should also have a practical understanding of health & safety, as the role will involve working with machinery such as mowers and strimmers.

Contract: Seasonal, ending 31st October 2017

Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, although our client is committed to developing staff and giving full training where needed. You should have both strong verbal and written communication skills, as the role involves working part of a team and keeping accurate records of works completed.
