Design Project Engineer (Roadside CCTV) - Maidenhead - GBP45-55K + car

The Opportunity:

I am shortlisting for an experienced Project Engineer/Manager with Roadside Camera Design Engineering experience (CCTV/ANPR/Safety/Speed). You must have an understanding or angles, road curvature and road camber when putting together design packs for installation teams. My client is an international leader in the development of safety cameras.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of project engineering activities
• Be accountable for project design and project implementation tasks
• Perform project installation analysis and fault finding to deliver improvements in service delivery
• Contribute to written specifications, technical reports and applicable documentation
• Comply with and contribute to quality assurance measures
• Undertake mechanical design activities to a high standard
• Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes to improve business efficiency
• Contribute to special projects as directed
• Work collaboratively with peers and leadership

Skills and Experience:

• Degree qualified in a technology field (or similar)
• Current, valid and unrestricted UK driver's license
• Capacity to take ownership of project delivery in short timeframes and to a high standard
• High level technical competency
• Demonstrates initiative; flexible and responsive to changing requirements
• Results oriented; works collaboratively and demonstrates accountability
• Work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal direction
• Site design planned vs actual, number of changes required
• Site performance, number of defects raised
• Resource requirement estimation vs actual
