Our client is a top 10 ranking Travel Management Company created as a result of a merger in November 2016, who has seen an exciting year of growth. As a result, this global, multi-award winning company is now looking for an In-house Recruitment Assistant to join their team in Manchester on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, this role will support the resourcing, and on boarding life cycle of new hires. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, growing business and to develop your skills as an in house recruiter.

Main duties & responsibilities include:

  • Working with their applicant tracking system to coordinate the new hire process
  • Filtering, pre-screening and scheduling interviews to support the recruitment manager
  • Posting on job boards, and assisting with social media campaigns
  • Scheduling interviews, email confirmations and meeting and greeting applicants ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Ensuring ongoing communication with candidates and timely feedback after interview
  • Assisting the recruitment manager with talent mapping for key roles within the business
  • Schedule inductions and liaise with the training team to on board new starters
  • Collect all documentation from new starters and ensure all details are received and passed to payroll

  • Confident with the ability to work well in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills
