Removing Barriers Project Officer
Salary: £19,430-21,962 pro rata per annum
12-month contract to 31 July 2018
30 hours per week
The Disability Resource Centre (DRC) is a leading disability organisation operating in Birmingham, Solihull and the wider West Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Employment and Training Team and to engage and support those recovering from mental ill-health to transition back into their communities, access relevant information, advice and local services, to move towards and into employment.
The successful applicant will provide information, advice and guidance to those recovering from mental ill-health on a wide range of issues including housing, finance, welfare entitlement, access to local services, independent living, accessing employment, educational and training opportunities, enabling them to work towards achieving their full potential.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven individual with a proven track record in engaging, supporting and empowering clients; a working knowledge of local employment and training services and experience in training delivery.
