Production Manager/Shift Manager

Do you have a strong background in leading a production team in a hands on way in a Food or Drinks Manufacturing environment?

You will join a really friendly and supportive team in this newly created role.

Working either a permanent 6- 2 or 2- 10 shift Monday to Friday you will report into the Operations Director and have full autonomy for the running of the shift and responsibility of roughly 100 through a number of direct reports.

You will be a leader that can continually focus on the development of your team to ensure genuine succession planning.

Essentially you will assist with the efficient running of the factory and initiate continuous improvements to the processes ensuring the day to day organisation of production whilst motivating and training staff.

You should have a minimum of two years' previous supervisory/management experience within the food manufacturing industry, be reliable, numerically sound and have some degree of computer literacy.

The ideal candidate will be of a 'can do attitude' who is able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Salary

GBP30 -35K DOE

This role is commutable from Bideford, Tiverton, Crediton, Barnstaple and Ilfracombe.
