We are currently recruiting for a Trainer Facilitator/Assessor in Computing, to join our team here at South Devon College. You will instruct and facilitate learning for students enrolled on a range or programmes as assigned by the Section Head and Programme Co-Ordinators. You will undertake assessment of students' knowledge and competence as appropriate, undertaking teaching responsibilities commensurate with the requirements of the post. This post will include the delivery of functional skills as required across the breadth of the Section.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant level 3 qualification (or above) in Computing, Networking, Computing Systems and Programming, and have English and Maths qualifications (GCSE Grade C or equivalent). If not already held, you will need to be prepared to work towards an assessor's award. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience working in the computing (or related) industry, and experience of working with computer software and hardware maintenance. You will also need experience of creating websites and applications with relevant and up to date subject knowledge.
