We are currently recruiting for a Hi-Tech Engineering Lecturer to join our Hi-Tech Engineering & Computing team, here at South Devon College. As a professional lecturer, you will be required to undertake formal scheduled duties to include; lesson & programme preparation, tutorials, and student assessment. You will undertake teaching responsibilities commensurate with the requirements of the post in a way which demonstrates the high standards of expected colleagues.

The successful candidate will need to hold a recognised technical qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing & Design Engineering and/or tool making to Level 3 (or above). You will also need to hold English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications and if not already held you will need to attain a teaching qualification within 3 years. We are looking for someone who has relevant industrial experience in an engineering environment and relevant subject knowledge of engineering practices up to and including Level 3.
