Engineering Apprenticeship
Centrebus Leicester operates bus services in and around Leicestershire and Rutland. We have just moved into a new garage on Wenlock way and we are looking to recruit a:-
1 x Mechanical/Electrical Apprentice
We will provide a structured training programme, which will involve both on the job training and off the job training at an accredited College, working towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification. You will undertake a progressive three-year apprenticeship, which will result in you being suitably qualified and competent in all aspects of the trade. You will also have the opportunity to obtain your PCV licence and full training for this will be provided.
What you need to apply:
- a proven interest in mechanics (for example, applicants who work on vehicles in their spare time),
- ability to get a car driving license
- a reasonable academic record
- good communication skills, both written and verbal
- the ability to 'think on your feet' and work through solutions to problems
- be a team player
- have a strong work ethic
- flexibility and motivation to do a good job.
