Recruitment Consultant - Berkhamsted

Quanta Consultancy Services are an award winning global contract recruitment consultancy based in Hertfordshire. We provide contract recruitment services to our clients within the Life Sciences, Renewable Energy and ICT industries.

Together we have created a unique, driven and fun working environment that embodies our company values. To support our continued growth we are recruiting a Recruitment Sales Consultant to work within our Life Sciences division.

We require an individual who can demonstrate a proven business development history. You will work in a vibrant and self-motivating team to source and develop new business contacts in order to generate requests for contract staff. It is essential that you are able to communicate well, prioritise work and manage your own activities.

Key areas of the role:

- Represent and convey Quanta`s vision and values at all times
- Sourcing and developing new business contacts in order to generate requests for contract business.
- Introducing and promoting Quanta to potential clients in a professional manner in order to obtain agreement and acceptance of our services.
- Having generated requests for contract staff the you will be responsible for the search and selection of suitable candidates. This will either be undertaken alone or in conjunction with a Delivery Executive appointed to the assignment.
- The preparation and sending of CV`s to clients.
- The arrangement of interviews including the provision of travel information where appropriate
- Explanation of matters relating to basic tax and social costs if contract placement is non UK.
- Subsequent to the contract consultant commencing the assignment, to maintain an ongoing relationship and to ensure that any issues or problems relating to matters concerning the assignment are dealt with swiftly and effectively

Experience & Skills Required:

- Prior experience within the recruitment industry within a sales/new business position.
- Strong communication skills are key to this position. You will spend a significant amount of time speaking with clients / candidates over the telephone and face to face, therefore will need to be a clear and concise communicator.
- All industry backgrounds will be considered, but must have a business development / sales focus.
- This role will involve travel both within the UK and abroad (if required).
