Hours of work are 47 ?? per week worked variably over 7 days (although primarily this tends to be Monday - Friday with a 1 in every 3 weekends call-out/standby)

Role Overview
An experienced Service Engineer, who will have an extensive background in engineering / maintenance, strong knowledge of rail vehicles and ideally solid knowledge of Health & Safety at Work, is required by a leading engineering business based in Eastleigh. A salary of up to GBP13.85 per hour plus benefits is offered depending on experience - the role is offered as a full time permanent contract.

Working in the small but dedicated service and maintenance team, the Service Engineer will be responsible for undertaking the preventive and reactive maintenance of Rail vehicles & associated equipment

Skills Required
The Service Engineer will ideally have the following skills / qualifications:
- Previous experience of working within the rail sector
- Extensive servicing / maintenance experience
- Solid Health & Safety at Work knowledge
- A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be an advantage
