For this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant post, you will be a passionate graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or higher in your degree, and already spent time in a role where you worked closely with children. You should have the capability to manage to show enthusiasm and passion for your post as a Teaching Assistant. The school wants to recruit someone who has a natural ease with strangers and the ability to rapidly form relationships and a clear focus on their path into the work of education. You must possess a deeply supportive nature that enables you to care for the social and educational aspects of your students.

At this vibrant school, as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant you will be supporting learning in a general capacity, across the school and you will be assisting with after-school clubs. This role comes with the full support of a Class Teacher mentor, who will welcome you in to the school and answer any questions you have. You will acquire a comprehensive understanding of school life as you take on a multitude of duties which contribute to the smooth running of the day. As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant you will be running small intervention groups and 1:1 sessions for pupils who might be benefit from further class support. Day-to-day, you will be learning and developing under a committed head of department, who is keen to see staff and pupils excel.
