My client is a growing Wealth Management business based in the city centre of Edinburgh seeking an Investment Administrator. The firm caters to Private Client individuals, and prides itself on its professional atmosphere.

Description

The Role

• Compile client investment reports - to include printing valuations, checking performance calculations, preparing draft letters for managers, filing reports

• Maintain records of clients' investment performance

• Input purchase and sale orders

• Investigate queries raised by clients and by their other professional advisers, and where appropriate draft a response

• Manage and monitor cash levels on the business's main platform

• Liaise with internal / external stakeholders re information requests and operational matters

• Participate in project work to deliver business improvements

Profile

The Investment Administrator will be expected to be/have:

• A minimum of two years' experience in an Investment Support function, although an exceptional candidate with less experience will be considered

• Strong technical and inter-personal skills; a team worker and a self-starter; well organised, methodical and able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines; a close attention to detail

• A good awareness and understanding of risk and compliance issues, for example Know Your Client, Treating Customers Fairly, and Anti-Money Laundering

• A strong commitment to client service and to delivering positive outcomes for clients

• IT literate with an emphasis on Excel and Word

• A knowledge of Advisor Office Software (beneficial, but not essential)
