Job Role:

This is a new position for a Graduate / Assistant Landscape Architect (could also suit an experienced Cad technician) to work predominately with our Client's newly formed Landscape Planning & Design business. You will work both independently and as part of the wider team on a diverse portfolio of work including site visits, landscape and visual assessment, masterplans and detailed design as well as overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of projects. An interest in ecological led design would be beneficial, with opportunities to work alongside and within their Arboriculture and Ecology Consultancies.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, your days will not be the same and you will need to be able to think both strategically and creatively to succeed liaising with colleagues and their clients to ensure services are delivered to the highest possible standard.

  • A relevant Degree and Post-Graduate Diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture
  • Creative, with a good understanding of design and the principles of hard and soft landscape
  • Able to prepare a range of plans from concepts / masterplans to detailed and technical drawings
  • Some knowledge or a general understanding of Landscape Assessment / LVIA is desirable
  • Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft packages. Some experience of Sketchup is desirable
  • Good graphic ability and presentation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to show initiative and work effectively either on your own or as part of a team
  • An interest in ecology led design
  • A full clean UK driving license is desirable
