Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers to the vehicle repair and refinish industry and have identified an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team based in Bamber Bridge, Lancashire.

Their aim is to provide a one-stop solution to all body shops and distribution partners with efficient delivery of the best products at competitive prices.

Due to their rapid expansion, our client seeking an enthusiastic and approachable

Position Summary
As Warehouse Assistant, it will be your responsibility to control and maintain suitable stock for prompt and efficient delivery to customers with responsibility for stock handling and control. Additionally you will;
• Respond to customers’ requests for stock and general queries either by telephone or over the counter and select and assemble goods accurately for customers as required
• Maintain adequate stocks of product in anticipation of customer demand and control stock movement using appropriate company documentation.
• Report and take necessary action in respect of damages, discrepancies or faults, to ensure goods are fit for resale and any product likely to exceed its shelf life to be reported to purchasing or sold
• Answer telephone and counter enquiries and complaints in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
• Carry out all duties so as to promote good customer relations and develop future business.
• Attend branch meetings on a weekly/monthly basis and carry out other non-specified duties as required by senior management from time to time.

The successful candidate will have the required skills and experience to thrive in this role, including
• Full Driving Licence is advantageous
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated approach to work with the ability to perform tasks accurately within a fast paced environment.
• You will be a strong team player who can also work alone when necessary and you will presentable, polite and professional at all times.
