Who are we looking for?
Due to continued expansion, we have immediate opportunities for Compliance Analysts to fill Belfast based positions within our Compliance Operation team.
Our Compliance Operations team works with global Financial Services clients to test and monitor compliance across a wide range of regulatory, technology and operational risk areas. Our client base includes market leaders across Banking, Capital Markets and the Insurance sector and we are looking for self-motivated individuals with backgrounds in testing, risk, compliance and/or audit to support our delivery capability.

About the roles
As a Compliance Analyst successful candidates will have the opportunity to upskill and work across a number of our proposition areas, including:
Control Testing & Monitoring - (inc. SOx compliance, business process testing, first and second line testing)Technology Risk - (inc. Technology governance & controls, systems testing, vendor risk management)
Regulatory Compliance - (inc. FATCA, CASS, MiFID)
Typical responsibilities could include:
Perform compliance and control assessments against a range of policy, guidelines and regulatory expectations;
Perform review and subsequent remediation of governance, processes and controls across a range of areas;
Supporting our Financial Services clients to become more resilient and better controlled;
Contacting and communicating with external sources;
Building and maintaining relationships with the wider global PwC network.
We need you to be able to work well within a team environment and also demonstrate the ability to lead colleagues and clients. As we work in a fast paced environment, we may also need you to be able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities to tight budgets and timeframes. You will be proactive about keeping up to date with the latest regulatory developments and key issues which could affect our clients.

Where will you be based?
Projects will be mainly carried out at PwC's Belfast office, although you may have the opportunity to travel to client sites (across the UK and sometimes global client sites) or be required to travel to PwC UK offices for training. We will discuss these requirements with you in advance of starting a project.
Requirements
Essential skills:
Experience in Financial Services (1-2 years);
Educated to degree level (or relevant industry experience);
Strong analytical skills with experience in problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions;
Willingness to expand technical knowledge in a broad range of client facing projects;
Ability to manage deadlines within multiple projects; and
Proven ability to be a team player, while retaining ability to work independently with little supervision.
Desirable skills:
Good understanding of risk, control and compliance testing methodology;
Previous experience ideally within either a risk, technology testing, compliance or audit function;
Coaching and mentoring;
Understanding of Information Technology.
