The UK's leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer, tasked with carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on equipment in their Food on the Go shops across South Staffordshire and North Birmingham.

The Role
Reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical and electrical shop equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible. You will carry out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modifications, ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out.

You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days within a set shift pattern over 45 hours per week, be willing to drive throughout a large geographical region if required to do so, and will therefore have a clean driving licence.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role will be 17th Edition qualified Electrician, with significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements.

Good organisational skills along with the ability to communicate at all levels will be required, as will excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades on both equipment and property.
