Due to the retirement of a respected colleague, a brilliant English Teacher opportunity has arisen.
The English Teacher post is open to an experienced English Teacher or English NQT who is comfortable teaching classes of bright, switched-on Grammar students and stretching them academically.
The new English Teacher will be teaching KS3/KS4 English Literature and Language. The ability to teach Drama as well would be a real plus.
The English Department is a high achieving but modest outfit who play a large part in the school. Theatre trips to the West End are common place and the take up of English and Drama at A-level is truly impressive. Many of the students go on to take English at degree level in some of the country's top Universities.
The school is a large and thriving, outstanding secondary School with a great reputation for providing a well-rounded education for all.
