Fixed Term (Maternity cover)
Full time- 35 hours a week
The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a committed and successful Trusts & Philanthropy team in the Central region, which contributes to the significant growth of income from trusts, foundations and individuals.
You will be a creative and inspiring communicator, with the ability to relate with personal credibility to a range of individuals, both internally and externally. Excellent written communication skills and considerable attention to detail are a must, giving you the ability to develop detailed proposals, reports and other communications to engage and steward a range of supporters. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, manage and prioritise a range of tasks and deadlines. You should be able to show empathy for the challenges facing disadvantaged young people. You will have an enthusiasm and passion for the work of The Prince's Trust and a desire to work collaboratively with your team members to achieve results.
