History Teaching Assistant - Medway

An opportunity for an effective graduate destined for a career in secondary education has arisen at an excellent secondary school in Medway as a History Teaching Assistant.

***School is currently graded as good and really striving for outstanding
***GBP60-GBP65 per day
***Long Term/Interim, Full-Time History Teaching Assistant position starting September/October 2017

Entry Criteria

2:2 or above degree in History or a Similar Subject
A*-C GCSE's in English and Maths
Some experience working with children is preferred but not essential.

About the Role

This History Teaching Assistant position involves working primarily as part of the established Humanities faculty. This role will see you leading small group sessions and mentoring students 1:1 to provide tutoring on the most demanding areas of the curriculum. Parents of SEN pupils fully support the school and you will continue to provide dedicated guidance to these students. The role is 5 days a week, 8:30 to 4pm and there will be the opportunity to lead extra curricular activities.
