Our client is currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to join their team in a home and field based role covering the Suffolk / Norfolk counties - This is a Rural and coastal caseload, areas covered include Great Yarmouth to Harwich/Felixstowe and Ipswich to Hadleigh/Eye)and surrounding areas.

Are you a qualified Assessor with experience of delivering Health & Social Care qualifications?

Do you like the flexibility of working from home with travel to meet with learners in your local areas?

We are working with a friendly Training Provider who have been in business for more than 30 years. You will need to be a qualified Assessor and hold a CAVA, TAQA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing Award.

Recent experience of Assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care with the delivery of Functional skills will be required for this role as you will be working independently.

It is essential that you hold a Level 3 Care qualification. There is a caseload of learners ready and they are mainly completing level 2 and 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care although there may be the occasional level 5.

The average size caseload is 60 learners and you will be using an EDI E-portfolio system. Learners are contacted every month but every other month by visit to allow for sound management of this size caseload.

You must be an excellent communicator and customer focussed to ensure that the company is represented to a high standard. You should be highly organised in order to maximise visit time with learners, to deliver smart assessment, be able to fast track learning and able to work to tight time scales.

You will operate delivery plans that include contact / support to learners by phone as well as in person.

This is an excellent position for a qualified, experienced Health and Social Care Assessor who enjoys working autonomously but with the support of your Manager when needed.

They are a nationally recognised provider of training and support businesses throughout the UK with a proven track record of customer satisfaction and excellence.

The company are on the approved register for levy paying employers and they have links with a large college, their delivery was graded 2 by Ofsted.

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. flexibility required due to the nature of the role and travelling

Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays

Salary:£25,000 per annum(Negotiable DOE possibly to £26k - £27k)

Travel:Home & field based role, travel required throughout Norfolk / Suffolk (Rural and coastal caseload including Great Yarmouth to Harwich/Felixstowe and Ipswich to Hadleigh/Eye) + surrounding areas to meet with learners in the work place. Mileage is 40p per mile paid door to door
